This how its all begins……..The revelation of my calling on to serve the Lord in Haiti (JPM Foundation Aid for the Forgotten) I was born in a small neighborhood call Lacoline in southern Haiti. In 1989 I left Haiti, went to France, then in 1994 I came to USA. I started to built own my family in United States, where I met my husband Alex, and now I have two beautiful daughters Krystal and Jennifer in the Unite State.
25 years later, in the year of 2015 my father got Sick in Haiti, I went to see him and spend some time with him, while I was in Haiti I decided to walk around in the neighborhood, I realize that the neighborhood or the country of Haiti has not changed not even a little bit, then ,as I’m walking around the village I saw a lady, that looks like someone I knew before I left Haiti when I was a little girl, so I called her name out, She said yes it’s me, she reply, I was surprise and happy to see her. But for a long time ever since she was born, she never had a normal childhood lives because her families were always poor, in top of it; she was sick she used to have Seizure where she would pass out all the times, at the time we didn’t know what it was.
Then I ask, do you still have this disease? She answers yes, I still have it. She told me when she feels that its coming or goes unconscious, she sometime goes under a tree so she doesn’t fall on the street. After that maybe one or two hours she would gets up and continue in route to go wherever she was going.
Then I ask her do you have children? She says yes, I have 7 kids. I said wow 7 kids? Then I saw two little boys naked with her, she told me their father died I believe they were somewhat 3 & 5 years old.
I told her come with me we are going to go to a place where we can buy clothes and shoes for those kids. She was so happy, she was smiling and said now she can take the kids to church this Sunday.
When I can back to the Unite State, this story hunted me, then I heard the voice the Lord said; “why don’t you Do Something (like the song)”. I decided to start with her kids, I sent money to pay for her kids to go to school, and also sent food for people in the neighborhood every month’s example (Rice, Oil, and Beans)
But now that God told me to do more… so I decided to answer the call to do more by starting this Ministry call JPM Foundation (Aid for the Forgotten).
In order to accomplish this Mission, the JPM foundation required more essentials for the community. As of right now we provide food, water, but the demand is growing, the people are now has hope. As the organization grows, we want to provide health care and education to the children of forgotten communities, so that these people are equipped to survive and arrange their own successes. We are striving for improvements in their livelihoods, and to deliver durable development to their communities.
We are determined to conquer the suffering, poor living conditions by providing security, education and share the Gospel to men, women, and children in Haiti.
The JPM Foundation was created in support of the forgotten community of Lacoline, South Haiti.
However, we are aware of many other communities that also struggle. We believe it is our duty to give back to the less fortunate, we hope the people who were once discouraged will then be empowered and may flourish through this program.
Your Donation is greatly appreciated and will do great impact and will accomplish miracles through the lives of the Haitian community.
Thank you for your time and patience.
JPM Foundation, Jasmine Moise.
